Left Control Panel
- Clicking the round number buttons (similar to an elevator) controls the
current room displayed in the center of the page
- To find particular types of rooms, clicking on one of buttons in the group of eight below
the floor buttons will toggle that particular room type. The types are (in order that they
are displayed:
- Elevators
- Restrooms
- Stairs
- Meeting Rooms
- Shopping
- Food
- Financial Services
- Vending
If an icon does not show up when the toggle button is pressed, there are no rooms of that type on
the particular floor you are on.
- The Selected Floor will always be displayed under the floor buttons. This label will also display
the room type when the mouse is over the room type toggle buttons.
Center Room Display
- This display shows the currently selected room.
- Moving the mouse over a room will display a photo in the top of the left control panel
- To view the title, description, phone, email and room hours, click on the room you would like to see and the description slider will slide out
- To hide the description slider, click on the room again
- You may click another rooms while the slider is still out. This will cause the slider to slide back and then slide out again with the new room's information
Right Navigation Bar
- This bar displays a list of all of the rooms in the Illini Union by floor
- A plus symbol next to the room means its description is currently retracted and a minus symbol means it is expanded
- Click on a room to expand it. This will display the Room name, description and a phone number.
- In the expanded mode, there is also a magnifying glass and a page symbol. Clicking on the magnifying glass locates that particular room on the map. Clicking the page symbol navigates you to that department's webpage.
- To retract the selected node, simply click on it again.
