An IP address to access the Internet is assigned upon
request for a University Department or Registered Student Organization
who wishes to access the University Network or Internet. All connection
cables are the responsibility of the user unless specifically requested.

on the day of the event, or requests an Illini Union Network Analyst after

rented from the Illini Union Multimedia department to access the network,
it will need to be arranged at least 24 hours in advance of the event.

Illini Union Multimedia department.

Asante Minihub for multiple computer setup

In the case of a multiple computer setup, an Asante Minihub
may be rented to provide up to eight 10baseT connections for one line charge.
Or, in the case that the customer’s NIC is 10base2 (coax), this same
hub may be employed to provide 10base2 - 10baseT connectivity.
